Neurofeedback for PTSD - Pet Scans Before and After

This EEG Info video shows Spect scans done at the clinic of Dr. Brian Amen, whom many of you may know from his presentations on PBS about the brain and health. The brain shown belongs to a veteran with PTSD. The difference before and after neurofeedback is striking.

What's even more exciting is what this can translate to for those with PTSD: being able to more fully live their lives again...

  • Without the persistent intrusive re-experiencing of the original traumas that is characteristic of PTSD
  • Improved sleep and elimination of the PTSD-associated nightmares
  • Clearing up the anger, problems with focus, hypervigilance and avoidance of triggers associated with PTSD
  • Being able to connect again with those they love

On the links page of the New York Neurofeedback website are five international neurofeedback provider lists.
