Neurofeedback and PTSD

Samantha Diavatis is the CEO of NeurOptimal®, the Canadian company that makes the state of the art neurofeedback system used at New York Neurofeedback,

In this podcast from last year, she talks about how neurofeedback can help PTSD sufferers.

NeurOptimal® is both powerful and virtually side effect free. That makes it especially nice for those with PTSD, who often have plenty on their plates in terms of symptoms - and who may also be dealing with medication side effects.

In my own practice, I see many of my neurofeedback clients able to reduce or eliminate medications. That as a goal often leads people to neurofeedback, whether they are dealing with PTSD or a mood disorder such as depression or anxiety, or difficulty with focus. An alternative to medication appeals to many.

If you have questions, please post them here or you are welcome to email me confidentially.
