Neurofeedback and Insomnia

My past problems with sleep were how I ended up as a NeurOptimal® neurofeedback trainer. If you're interested in the story, visit the Client Comments page of New York Neurofeedback's website.

Recently Zengar, the makers of NeurOptimal®, the state of the art system I use, interviewed colleague and friend Dr. Ed O'Malley about his use of neurofeedback for insomnia. The interview is titled Tired of Insomnia? If that's you, it's well worth reading.

Ed, who is board certified in sleep medicine, has conducted research using NeurOptimal® that demonstrates clearly how effective we know it is. His study showed that amount and quality of study participants' sleep improved greatly. Most reduced or completely went off sleep medications.

Falling asleep in a normal 15 minutes certainly beats hours of tossing and turning.

Those kinds of results are what my clients report to me. It's very rewarding doing this work. When sleep gets better, everything gets better.
